Reflective Writing
It is a requirement of the portfolio to include 3 pieces of reflective writing. The first piece was my evidence-based essay on my home page. I had the option of killing two birds with one stone and using other pieces already on the portfolio for the reflective requirement, but I wanted to do something else instead. These two additional reflective pieces were big moments for me during my classes, even if they were only short essays. Not only did I put a lot of heart in them, but I was able to dig deep into my own feelings and make an attempt at writing them down on paper.
I kept these under the Academic Writing section of the portfolio because, even though they are reflective, they still were for academic coursework. They each have their own subpage, labeled by the title of the essay rather than the class name. I thought this was more fitting since they are, after all, reflective pieces and are also from courses that were already used previously on this portfolio.
